Did General George Washington Like Beer?
He sure did, in fact the hero of the revolutionary war always kept a large supply at Mount Vernon, his Virgina estate. George was fond of dark, English style brew known as porter.
Silvio, this was really interesting. I never knew that George Washington liked beer. He was the father of our country and passed on his like of beer to all the centuries that followed him. I found it interesting that beer existed back then. This post was very interesting. Mary Ann Reday.
