Unique St. Patrick's Day Spirits

St. Parick's Day is hugely anticipated all year! Many people use the seventeenth day of March to spend quality time with friends and family, while drinking "Luck of the Irish" spirits. What are some interesting alcoholic beverages with which to toast your friends?

Whisky is a traditionally Irish liquor. Guiness, a stout Irish beer, is an imported delight.

Wondering what other interesting beverages can be ordered or created? Either heading to the local watering hole or throwing a St. Patrick's day bash, these festive cocktails will be enjoyed by all!

The Shot:
Nutty Irishman

3/4 ounce Irish Cream
3/4 ounce Frangelico

Combine ingredients. Serve in a shot glass.

The Cocktail:
Peppermint Patty

3/4 ounce Creme de Coco
3/4 ounce Peppermint Schnapps
splash of coffee cream

Mix all ingredients. Shake. Strain. Serve in a martini glass.

And finally....
The Beer!
Green Beer

any beer selection
green food dye

Green Beer is simply beer with green food coloring added. Simple and cheap.

Cheers!!!

  1. I am an Ex-drinker but I used to makes these drinks all the time. My sobriety date is October 30th, 2009 so its been awhile since I had a drink. Celebrating St. Patricks day has always been a big part of my family. We are all Irish but not fully Irish. I get mad when I see Irish wanna-be's dress up in green and go out to bars pretendin g to be Irish. People should just be themselves. Thats whats really cool.
